La Napoule Art Foundation offers time and space for creative minds to engage in cultural interchange and meaningful work that impacts the world for the greater good. In addition to using this time to explore new ideas and develop their work, artists are expected to take every opportunity, especially mealtimes, to build community and friendship as well as to exchange ideas and experiences. Welcome guests on certain occasions such as residencies, workshops, and nonprofit partnerships. Small and dedicated museum staff will assist all artists, as time is available.

Studios: LNAF provides each resident with a stipend, plus a studio space in which to work. Studios are located throughout the Château property, some inside the castle and some in towers on its grounds. Artists are asked to address any specific requirements for studio space in their applications. Each resident will be assigned studio space based on their needs. Studios are found throughout the property, offering artists inspiring historic surroundings in which to work. Please be sure to share your exact needs with the staff in advance. Residents are required to return studios to their original condition upon leaving.

Housing: Residents are housed in single rooms in the Villa Marguerite, located just across the street from the Château. Rooms are equipped with private baths and have sea and garden views. There is a coin operated washer and dryer in the basement of the Villa (washer requires coins: 2€ and 1€, dryer requires 2€ coin). The Villa Daisy room is equipped with computers with an internet connection for your use. Residents who need a computer for their work should bring a laptop with them. For lunches and weekend meals, the residents may use the Villa kitchen. Several grocery markets nearby.

Supplies: Each resident artist is responsible for ALL of their own supplies, including paint, ink, paper, CDs/DVDs, and brushes

Smoking: not permitted inside any building
