Call for Europe based performing artists to apply at Productiehuis Theater in Rotterdam
Are you a performing artist with a distinctive, unique practice - seeking time, space, and artistic exchange to deepen your work? Productiehuis Theater Rotterdam invites emerging makers to apply for their 5-week artist-in-residence program Welcome to our Guesthouse.
In September and October 2026, they will invite three artists (solo or duos) to develop an artistic research project over five weeks. This open call is to discover new artistic voices, perspectives, and practices for our 10th anniversary edition.
Welcome to our Guesthouse is a residency for a new generation of performing artists whose interdisciplinary work dares to question dominant narratives. You will have the space to research, experiment, and exchange with other artists, guided by the expertise and care of Productiehuis Theater Rotterdam.
The research outcome will be shared in a theatrical track, bringing together presentations by the three resident artists and installations by other artists.
