Le Moulin d’Abondance, an ecological creative place in rural eastern France, is inviting artists to come for a residency between 20 of October and mid-December 2026.
Through the European programme Culture Moves Europe – Individual Mobility, artists can apply for European funding to carry out an artistic residency abroad.
Residencies at the Moulin can last between 14 and 50 days and are open to individual artists or small groups (up to 5 people) aged 18 or older and legally residing in one of the Creative Europe countries (except France).
We welcome artistic projects in the fields of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts, especially projects that resonate with the values of the Moulin: creativity, connection to nature, collective exploration and artistic experimentation.
Le Moulin d’Abondance is located in a historic mill surrounded by forests, a river and natural spring water. It is a place where artists, facilitators and researchers explore the meeting point between art, ecology and collective living (see their website here : https://lemoulindabondance.com/home/ )
