Abstract: On the intersection of theory and practice, this panel explores the opportunities and challenges increasingly diverse societies face by focusing on the growing field of inclusive citizenship education from an intersectional perspective. This panel aims to bring into dialogue a variety of empirical studies while critically reflecting on inclusive & intersectional citizenship education theories. For this, the panel chair is looking for additional papers on the subject to be presented and discussed as part of the 2022 ECPR General Conference at the University of Innsbruck, 22-26 August 2022.
