The Trieste Schiller Association is organising the third International Friedrich Schiller Competition “Premio Raffaello de Banfield 2026”, dedicated to song compositions for voice and piano.
The competition is open to composers of all nationalities who have not yet reached the age of 36 on 30
April 2026 (all those born after 1st May 1990)
Prizes
- Prize € 1,500.00 and publication of the winning composition to a text by F. Schiller specified in this competition;
- Prize € 800.00 for the best composition to a freely chosen text;
- Prize of € 500.00 from the Ananian Trieste Foundation for the best composition by a candidate who fulfils the legal requirements (Italian citizenship and residence in Friuli Venezia Giulia for more than five years)
